Fukuoka Prefecture: Nogata – Munakata – Shikanoshima Route
We present a refreshing cycling course where you can ride close to the sea while enjoying seasonal nature, World Heritage sites, and local gourmet unique to Fukuoka. Along the Onga River from Nogata to Ashiya Town, you'll be greeted by fields of yellow rapeseed blossoms in spring and colorful cosmos flowers in autumn. The peaceful riverside scenery offers a relaxing ride. The coastal section from Ashiya Town to Munakata City is developed as the Onga–Munakata Cycling Road, where you can enjoy a smooth ride with the sea breeze on your skin. On clear days, you can catch a distant view of Okinoshima, a sacred island and World Heritage Site. The route also passes by other cultural treasures like Munakata Taisha, also part of the World Heritage Site, and Miyajidake Shrine, known for the "Path of Light." You'll continue riding all the way to Shikanoshima, where the famous gold seal “Kan no Wa no Na no Kokuō” was discovered. The approach to the island, known as Uminonakamichi, is an exhilarating stretch of road flanked by the sea on both sides. From Nogata to Shikanoshima, this approximately 90 km course is one of Fukuoka Prefecture’s world-class cycling routes.

Nagasaki Prefecture Omura Bay ZEKKEI (Southern Omura Bay Area Cycling Route)
Discover an exhilarating 46km cycling course that follows the Omura Bay coastline to Togitsu Town. The journey starts near the airport at Morizono Park, a fantastic viewpoint for watching low-flying planes. Departing from Morizono Park, the route passes through Omura City's Omura Park, home to around 2,000 cherry trees that burst into bloom in spring. It then continues along the seaside through the Miura and Dousaki areas, offering views of the calm bay. From late March, this section transforms into a tunnel of cherry blossoms, making it a popular spot for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). In May, the area is adorned with blooming mandarin orange blossoms. Offering a satisfying mix of rolling hills (ups and downs) from start to finish, this route allows cyclists to power through the entire length. It's an especially recommended cycling experience during the spring season.

Kumamoto Prefecture, Amakusa Shimoshima Circuit Cycle Marathon Course A
This route starts from Saitsu Fishing Port and goes around Amakusa Shimoshima Island. In the Hondo area near the starting point, there are several cycle shops that can service bicycles, and some shops also lend out tools. Amakusa Shimoshima offers a variety of attractions, including spots where you can learn about the history of Amakusa, such as the Amakusa Christian Museum, Sakitsu Church, and the Marine Maria Statue, as well as the spectacular Ushibuka Haiya Bridge and Amakusa Shimoda Onsen, where you can experience footbaths for free. This course takes you around the outer circumference of the island, passing through Ushibuka, Shimoda Onsen, Reihoku Town, and Itsuwa Town, before returning to Saitsu Fishing Port. Enjoy cycling while experiencing the unique history and nature of Amakusa!

Yamaguchi Prefecture, Tsunoshima Bridge Blue Ocean Route
This course starts from Shimonoseki Station, follows along the Hibiki Sea to your left, and heads towards Tsunoshima, famous as one of Yamaguchi Prefecture's most scenic spots. It then continues along the calm Yuya Bay and finishes at Nagato Yumoto Onsen, the oldest hot spring resort in Yamaguchi Prefecture. There are many attractive spots to stop by, including Karato Market, popular for its sushi buffet; Doigahama Beach, with its white sand and crystal-clear water; and Motonosumi Shrine, with its 123 vibrant red torii gates. There are also several hot spring areas such as Kawatana Onsen, Tsuwashiki Onsen, Shimonoseki Tsukuno Onsen, and Yuya Bay Onsen, with many offering day-use bathing. While gazing at Yamaguchi Prefecture's unique yellow guardrails and the brown-tiled roofs of private homes, you can enjoy the sea, nature, hot springs, and gourmet food on this appealing course.

Kagoshima Prefecture, Kinkowan Bay Inner Route
This course starts from Tarumizu Port, circles Sakurajima Island, and runs along Kinkowan Bay to Kagoshima City. Spanning four cities—Tarumizu, Kirishima, Aira, and Kagoshima—this route allows you to enjoy cycling while visiting popular tourist spots in each city. The coastline along the bay is rich in diversity, featuring rocky shores, sandy beaches, tidal flats, cliffs, and lava formations, offering a continuous stretch of unique coastal scenery. One of the great charms of this course is the ability to view Kinkowan Bay and Sakurajima from various angles, enjoying different landscapes from each location. For cyclists who want to enjoy an active trip, marine sports in the calm waters of Kinkowan Bay are also recommended. Scuba diving, kayak fishing, and SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) experiences can be enjoyed year-round.

Miyazaki Prefecture Nichinan Coast Lover's Road
Starting from Minato no Eki Meitsu, this exhilarating cycling course takes you along the tropical Nichinan Coast towards Cape Toi. Enjoy the unique natural scenery of Miyazaki, where wild horses graze, and savor the Miyazaki delicacy, Kurose Yellowtail, in Kushima. Towards the end of the course, visit Enoharu Shrine, a deity of traffic safety and matchmaking. Finally, you'll return to the starting point, Minato no Eki Meitsu. This course allows you to fully enjoy the dynamic nature that Miyazaki has to offer.

Okinawa Prefecture East Coast Sunrise Cycling Route
We’d like to introduce a cycling route that runs along Okinawa’s east coast, spanning two towns and two villages—from Yonabaru Town to Kitanakagusuku Village. Starting at Yonagohama Park, where the open grassy field offers a great sense of freedom, the course takes you past the Prince Higashi-no-miya Landing Monument, then to Nishihara Kirakira Beach, Asato no Tera, and the UNESCO World Heritage site Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, before finishing at AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom. This approximately 23.6 km beginner-friendly short course is dotted with uniquely Okinawan spots worth stopping by. Road markings and guide signs are placed along the course, making it a great choice even for first-time riders in Okinawa.

Saga Prefecture Arita to Karatsu Route
We introduce a route that allows you to fully enjoy the history, nature, and gourmet cuisine unique to Saga Prefecture, taking you through the northern part of the prefecture. Starting in Arita, famous for its pottery, this scenic and exhilarating route leads to Karatsu, offering breathtaking views of the Genkai Sea along the way. The route passes through Hamanoura Rice Terraces, which have been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Terraced Rice Fields, as well as Yobuko Ohashi Bridge, featured in the New Saga 100 Views, and Niji-no-Matsubara, one of Japan’s Three Great Pine Groves. These stunning landscapes are sights you won’t find in other prefectures. Along the way, you can also indulge in delicious local specialties such as Yobuko squid, fresh sashimi from Karatsu, and the famous Karatsu Burger, making this route a perfect blend of cycling and gourmet delights.

A 2-Day, 1-Night Course Exploring the Nature and History of the Nioh Rindo Trail
A Cyclist’s Dream Destination: The Kunisaki Peninsula, Oita Prefecture. This area has been known as a training ground for ascetic monks for over 1,300 years, and more than 300 statues of Nio (guardian deities) remain in their original form throughout the peninsula. Inspired by the image of cyclists powerfully riding through the region alongside these revered Nio statues, the cycling routes on this peninsula have been named "Nio Rindo" (仁王輪道). The area boasts a diverse landscape, including a rugged ria coastline along the outer rim of the peninsula and satoyama (traditional rural landscapes) that have been recognized as a World Agricultural Heritage site. The route is also dotted every few kilometers with historic temples and shrines preserving the tradition of mountain worship, as well as high-quality hot springs. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, this cycling road offers an attractive experience for all. Additionally, there are numerous sightseeing spots in the urban areas, such as the castle towns of Kitsuki City and Hiji Town, which allow visitors to feel as if they’ve traveled back to the Edo period, and Showa no Machi in Bungotakada City, where you can experience the nostalgic atmosphere of Japan’s Showa era. This makes it easy to combine cycling with sightseeing. With multiple rental cycle stations and plenty of cycle-friendly stops along the way, exploring Nio Rindo on a 2-day, 1-night cycling tour is a fantastic way to experience the peninsula.
