Saga: Niji-no-Matsubara (Rainbow Pine Grove) Niji-no-Matsubara is a nationally designated Special Place of Scenic Beauty and one of Japan’s three great pine groves, stretching along the shores of Karatsu Bay. This 4.5 km-long forest of one million black pine trees forms a mesmerizing green tunnel, as if leading to another world.
