Munakata-taisha Shrine Munakata-taisha Shrine in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a historic shrine that has been registered as a World Heritage site. The shrine enshrines a guardian deity of navigation, and its National Treasure Museum, which displays national treasures, is a highlight. The shrine is blessed with good fortune for traffic safety and good luck, and the “Miare Festival” held every October is a must-see.

【Day1】 13:00 Miyajitake Shrine At Miyajitake Jingu Shrine, famous for its huge shimenawa (sacred straw rope), the approach straight from the shrine grounds is known as the “Path of Light,” and visitors will enjoy this beautiful view after visiting the shrine. Also of particular note here is the fact that the shrine is dedicated to the god of business prosperity and good fortune, making it a power spot that attracts many worshippers. We will spend some time walking around the vast grounds and get acquainted with the history and mythology of the area. 15:00 Shikanoshima Island Shikanoshima is a historically important place where gold seals were discovered, and is a valuable spot that tells the story of ancient exchange between Japan and China. While riding a bicycle around the island and enjoying the beautiful nature surrounded by the sea, we will stop by the Golden Seal Park to see a replica of the seal and the background of its discovery. In this place where the sea and history intersect, visitors will learn about history while experiencing the romance of those times. 15:30 - 16:00 Ferry from Shikanoshima Island to Hakata Port Ferry times vary depending on the day of the week. Please check in advance. Ride from Hakata Port to a hotel near Hakata Station and check in. The hotel is a business-class hotel. Meals are not included, so please enjoy Fukuoka's gourmet food on your own.

【Day2】 10:00 Depart from the hotel. Start cycling. 10:30 Walk around Fukuoka Tower area Move to Fukuoka Tower, a landmark of Fukuoka City. Enjoy the beautiful view of Hakata Bay and the city. Nearby there are beaches and fashionable stores to enjoy a stroll. 11:30 Koto Park Enjoy a picnic or a walk in this vast park surrounded by the sea and nature. Take a break on the spacious lawn and relax while enjoying the view of the bay.

【Day 2】 13:00 Sakurai Futamigaura After arriving at Futamigaura, we will get off our bicycles and take a commemorative photo in front of the rocks! You will experience the sound and scenery of the sea. After a short while, we will take a refreshing stroll along the seashore, feeling the grandeur of nature. 14:00 Hakoshima We will ride to Hako-jima Island, crossing a bridge while admiring the blue sea stretching out on both sides. Upon arrival at the island, we will take a leisurely stroll around the entire island and relax in the natural surroundings. Rest your legs and prepare for the next leg of the tour while experiencing the view from the bridge and the tranquil environment of the island. 15:00 Arrive at Aneko no Hama Narukisuna At Aneko beach, we will get off our bicycles and walk along the beach, feeling the squeaking sand. While enjoying the sound of the sand “squeaking,” we will take in the tranquil view of the ocean and enjoy the experience of being in harmony with nature. 15:30 Rental bikes can be dropped off at Shikaka Station on the JR Chikuhi Line. Please return to Hakata/Tenjin area by train.
